On the 27th and 28th of March 2007, CSIRO scientist Dr Iain McCowan attended the 2007 session of Science Meets Parliament (SmP) which saw over 160 leading scientists from around Australia come together for a series of face-to-face meetings and forums with Parliamentarians in Canberra.

This week Dr Bruce Barraclough who was appointed last November as our Theme Leader was profiled ( People priority in e-health [PDF: 234KB]) in the NEXT section of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. It is tremendous that the ICT Centre has been able to make such an excellent appointment. Bruce brings enormous experience to our eHealth team, and will help shape our portfolio of projects and open doors to new opportunities.
