Queensland Government Recognises Outstanding
Achievement of e-Health Research Centre PhD Student

Sankalp Khanna, a PhD Scholarship student at the e-Health Research Centre, was announced as the Winner of the "Outstanding Achievement by an International Student" category in the prestigious Queensland Government "Celebrating International Education and Training Industry Showcase 2006" on 7 September 2006.
The showcase was designed to recognise and reward outstanding achievements in Queensland's international education and training industry and attracted nominations from all schools, universities and other CRICOS registered providers in Queensland.
Sankalp came to Australia as an International Student in 2002 to study IT at Griffith University. Even before graduating at the top of his class with a GPA of 7.0, Sankalp was offered, and commenced, a teaching position at the University. He is currently enrolled at Griffith University's Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems for his PhD.
Sankalp has also represented international students as the Queensland Branch Convenor of the National Liaison Committee, the peak representative body for International students in Australia, since 2004.
